Wednesday, August 15, 2018 - 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM PDT

“Staying ahead of the threat curve requires sustained participation of public and private sector stakeholders. Together, we must anticipate, adapt to, and defend against emerging threats.”
— Mike Chaney, support to Department of Homeland Security and NCCIC

Critical infrastructure is a prime target for threat actors and nation-state attacks. With the significant risk these issues pose, cyber defenders in Federal agencies and commercial organizations can share vital information on vulnerabilities and indicators of compromise.

In this live webcast, guest presenter Mike Chaney, who supports the DHS, National Cybersecurity & Communications Integration Center (NCCIC), and David Meltzer, Tripwire CTO, will share best practices to reduce the likelihood and severity of incidents that may significantly compromise the security and resilience of the critical infrastructure.

Attendees will learn about:

  • Recent attacks and intrusion activity to critical infrastructure
  • Cybersecurity best practices and key risk factors for ICS
  • Monitoring strategies for system administration and network defense
  • Trends and insights on the mounting threat of nation-state attacks
  • Obtaining additional information on NCCIC and other guidelines
